Practice Collections Leader – LATAM

Job Title: Practice Collections Leader – LATAM Location: Mexico, WFH Summary: The Practice Collections Leader – LATAM is responsible for leading collections operations for one or more strategic client accounts within the BPO practice, ensuring efficient recovery of outstanding receivables across the Latin America region. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the collections team assigned to BPO client accounts across the LATAM region. Design and implement collection strategies tailored to client needs and country-specific requirements. Manage the entire collections cycle & drive digital collection strategies Strong understanding of practice clients, including their billing processes, approval structures, and payment behavior. Ensure timely and accurate updates to collection reports, financial dashboards, and AR analyses. Ensure compliance with global financial policies, local regulations, and specific client requirements across LATAM. Identify process improvement opportunities and champion automation where possible. Coach and develop team members, fostering a high-performance and client-focused culture. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 3 to 5 years of experience in collections management within BPO, shared services, or multinational environments. Proven experience leading teams and handling corporate clients in LATAM Strong understanding of the end-to-end collections cycle and related financial workflows. Demonstrated expertise in digital collection tools and platforms. In-depth knowledge of BPO client profiles, including contract terms, billing patterns, and customer expectations. Familiarity with LATAM tax requirements, electronic invoicing, and financial compliance standards.
