Controls Engineer

Job Title: Controls Engineer Location: United state Responsibilities Develops and designs control system; develop and implements bench test. Validate/Alters software and equipment to ensure that sensors and actuators are functioning according to specifications. Supports and debugs complex problems and change requests. Develop and prepare cost estimation; compile required cost and equipment information and write and review appropriation requests. Investigate problems and requirements of projects, and develop plans for solutions in line with economic, personnel, and environmental considerations. Develop/validate for the installation and technical support of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based hardware and software. Verify and define clear controls system specifications and work with OEMs. Create detailed controls system design review and follow approvals. Develop, installation/startup, modify -PLC, handshaking verification and troubleshooting with OEMs. Runoff verification (CPES requirements and controls verification (handshaking/CMES/Integration). Support the production operation by providing responses to breakdowns to assist maintenance with related controls systems to minimize equipment downtime.
