Hardware Architect

YT Tech is working with a leading R&D-driven technology company developing advanced electronic systems. Were seeking a Principal Hardware Systems Engineer to join their team and take full ownership of complex projects from concept and design through to production and ongoing support. This is a hands-on role in a small, dynamic team, giving you the opportunity to influence product development, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to innovative technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead system-level design and development across hardware, electronics, and RF systems Act as technical authority and customer-facing lead for assigned products Oversee design reviews, system validation, and configuration control Manage and mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams Ensure manufacturability, reliability, and product quality Support bids, proposals, and coordination with suppliers and partners Essential Skills & Experience Strong engineering background in electronics, hardware, or RF systems Proven experience delivering products from concept to production Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams Broad knowledge of system architectures, embedded systems, and electronics Strong problem-solving and communication skills Familiarity with formal systems engineering processes Desirable Skills Experience with Aras Innovator or Altium Designer Knowledge of RF and electronic test equipment Experience with Python or SysML Experience leading large or complex technical bids If interested, please apply with your recent CV and I will give you a call to discuss
