About the Role: As Business Development Manager , you will play a key strategic role in identifying, evaluating, and executing growth opportunities through in-licensing, out-licensing, strategic alliances, and new project development. This position has a direct impact on the company’s competitive positioning and long-term growth across the region. Key Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate business opportunities that strengthen and expand the company’s product portfolio. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of local and international pharmaceutical markets to uncover commercial opportunities and emerging trends. Assess innovative technologies, business models, and products aligned with corporate strategy. Develop and execute comprehensive business cases , including financial analysis, profitability (ROI), and risk assessment. Lead technical, legal, commercial, and financial feasibility studies for new product introductions. Represent the company at pharmaceutical trade fairs, conferences, and networking events to build strategic partnerships. Oversee the end-to-end execution of business development projects, from opportunity assessment to product launch. Manage and control the department’s budget, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Patents, Commercial, and Business Intelligence) to ensure project success. Act as the key liaison with corporate headquarters for the identification and approval of new business opportunities. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or in a related field. Master’s degree (MBA) preferred. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, leading new business development, licensing, or strategic alliances. Language(s): Advanced English proficiency. Skills & Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market (local & international). Understanding of regulatory and compliance processes. Strong financial and business case analysis skills. Excellent project management and negotiation capabilities. Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and CRM platforms (Salesforce, Xperbit, AI).
