Senior Director (Digital Security and Architecture) Gold Coast Hospital & Health Service – Southport QLD An opportunity has become available for a Senior Director (Digital Security and Architecture) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Develop and implement overarching cyber security vision and strategy Establish and maintain a robust cyber security governance structure, defining clear roles, responsibilities, and reporting mechanisms Lead governance reporting efforts, providing clear and concise updates to executives Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure cyber security initiatives align with broader organisational priorities and strategies Engage with executives and business leaders to champion cyber security initiatives, securing their support and involvement in fostering a strong security culture Represent the Health Service in external forums, engaging with Queensland Health, other government agencies, industry groups, and other stakeholders to advocate for and align on cyber security priorities About you To be successful in this position you will require: Relevant tertiary qualification and/or recognised industry certifications in one or more of the following: Cyber Security Information Security/ISO27001 Project/Program management Business Management/leadership Extensive experience in cyber security leadership roles, managing large teams and complex programs Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Flexible work options Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Permanent full time Base salary ranging from $174 339 - $188 056 per annum About Us The Digital Transformation and Research division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation initiatives, aligned with the strategic objectives outlined in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Strategic Plan 2024 – 2028 (G28). The division is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery optimising Health Service performance. Additionally, it oversees strategic partnerships that support the implementation of alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, while driving improvements in performance and innovation across the organisation.
