Process Engineer

Walker Cole International is searching for a French-Speaking Process Engineer to join a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing client on a 9–12 month contract, beginning January 2026. This position is fully onsite, and all expenses will be covered. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting both upstream and downstream activities on a live production line. You will be responsible for: Providing day-to-day engineering support for a commercial bioprocess production line. Troubleshooting process deviations and supporting investigations to maintain consistent batch performance. Executing and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across upstream (cell culture/fermentation) and downstream (purification/filtration/chromatography) operations. Supporting technology transfer, validation, and process readiness activities. Collaborating with Manufacturing, QA, QC, MSAT, and Automation teams to ensure compliant operations. Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, reports, and process optimisations. The successful candidate will have: Professional proficiency in French (spoken and written). Experience as a Process Engineer in a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. Strong technical background in both upstream and downstream bioprocess engineering. Ability to work onsite full-time for the duration of the contract. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced GMP environment.
