Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote, Latin America ROLE: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our global team. This role is critical in bridging the gap between development, quality assurance, and operations to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep architectural knowledge of Salesforce, a robust background in DevOps practices, and excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, managing environments, and ensuring the highest standards of deployment and release management. Responsibilities Architecture and Strategy: * Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce development using industry-standard tools (e.g., Copado, Flosum, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gearset). * Architect and enforce best practices for version control, branching strategies, and metadata management. * Provide expertise on Salesforce platform limitations and design scalable, high-performance solutions. * Collaborate with solution architects to ensure development designs are deployable and align with DevOps standards. DevOps & Release Management: * Automate the entire software release process from code commit to production deployment. * Manage and orchestrate sandbox environments, including proactive refresh and data seeding strategies. * Implement and manage robust testing frameworks (unit, integration, UAT) within the deployment pipeline. * Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and environmental issues across development, staging, and production orgs. Tools & Automation: * Administer and optimize DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Git, JIRA, Jenkins). * Develop scripts for automation using Bash, PowerShell, or Python. * Manage source control systems (e.g., Git) and enforce governance and quality gates. Collaboration & Communication: * Work closely with development teams, administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth and frequent releases. * Conduct training and mentorship for team members on DevOps processes and tools. * Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, standards, and configurations in both English and Spanish. Qualifications & Requirements Desired Certification: Current Salesforce certifications are required (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Architect certifications are a strong plus). Experience: 4 years of hands-on experience in a Salesforce DevOps or Release Engineering role. DevOps Proficiency: Proven, working knowledge and practical experience with: CI/CD tools: Copado (highly desirable), Flosum, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar. Version Control: Expert knowledge of Git (branching, merging, conflict resolution). Metadata API: Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata and deployment techniques. Architectural Knowledge: Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, and security concepts. Experience with integrating Salesforce with other systems is a plus. Language Skills: Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal communication). Location: Must reside in Latin America and maybe travel to Miami occasionally (Passport and Visa required) Preferred Skills: * Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash). * Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Salesforce DevOps Center. * Familiarity with testing automation tools (Provar, Selenium). * Experience in a multi-org, complex Salesforce environment.
