The Opportunity You’ll join our Solutions team, where we push the limits of autonomous robotic inspection intelligence. In this role you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on complex technical problems, build new capabilities, and improve existing across various platforms and languages, including edge devices and cloud architecture. Your work will shape our technology roadmap, guiding long‑term strategy and ensuring every solution is robust, reliable, and ready for impact. Market & Technology ANYbotics transforms industrial plants in the renewable energy, process, and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that are beyond reach. Our mobile robot ANYmal uses legs for extreme mobility in complex environments, camera‑ and LIDAR‑based sensing for full autonomy and obstacle avoidance, to perform jobs and deliver high‑quality, consistent inspection results. We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, and all related electrical hardware. Your Contributions Build robust and scalable data collection infrastructure, to collect data, and evaluate its quality Design and build ML evaluation framework. Deploy ML models to production, benchmark and optimize their latency Conduct evaluation experiments, analyze results and suggest modeling improvements Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance Lead complex technical or product efforts and provide technical guidance to peers Architect efficient and scalable ML systems that drive complex applications Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues Collaborate with Product Management and UX to translate product requirements into user‑centric solutions Partner with a cross‑functional engineering team to build and deliver seamless, end‑to‑end solutions Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience Demonstrated strong coding, debugging, and engineering skills in writing modern C++/Python Good familiarity with GPU programming, performance benchmarking and optimization, to deploy ML systems on edge or cloud systems Experience in software development, architecture design and implementation Experience leading ML system design and infrastructure (e.g., data pipeline, ML model training, evaluation and deployment) Experience in testing and launching large‑scale software products Bonus Points Experience with state‑of‑the‑art deep learning and computer vision models (Transformer architectures, Diffusion models, Multi‑Modal, Large Vision Models) Experience with diverse HW sensing technologies (vision, audio, thermal, gas) Experience with ROS2, robotics middleware, and simulation frameworks Other Information We offer a very exciting and dynamic work environment, the opportunity to become part of a fast‑growing company and an ambitious team that is on a mission to change the industrial inspection market, a chance to leverage your experience and bring in your own ideas, a fair market salary, and an attractive employee stock ownership plan.
