About the Dive Master Role As a Data Diver Dive Master is responsible for: Supporting the ongoing development and management of all the Data Diver capabilities. Building solutions, methodologies and approaches to deliver remarkable client journeys. Building products and services to ensure we have relevancy in the market. Providing thought leadership to our people and our communities. Supporting the partner ecosystem. Delivery as described in the Rmkble Way (our delivery method). Building a sustainable and resilient business. Delivering to our Rmkble and DataDivers mission, ambition, purpose, and principles and values. Building lasting relationships with customers, partners, thought leaders and DDers. As a Dive Master, you will play a crucial role in building the business and the capability within the business to deliver exceptional results for our clients. Key responsibilities include: Business Development Ongoing market research to understand market trends, customer needs, identify opportunities of growth, and understand competition. Assist with the development of strategic sales plans in support of the business objectives to achieve sustainable business growth. Building and maintaining relationships with potential customers, partners, thought leaders and influencers. Identifying and pursuing potential customers or clients through various channels. Ensuring customer remarkability and loyalty through effective communication and support. Support the creation of remarkable journeys via pre‑sales, qualification, solutionising and proposal creation. Support product and services sales. Provide advisory and delivery services. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging creative solutions to challenges. Capability Development Provide technical leadership and evangelism. Support the Capability Sherpa community and DD Architecture community. Uplift capability across the organisation. Support the learning and communities (including DAcademy curriculum). Create common practices, methodologies, approaches and accelerators to the delivery of remarkable client journeys. Stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies to support capability development, aligning it with DD objectives. Provide thought leadership re technology, capability and product advancements. Participate in learning activities and community (e.g. meet‑ups, conferences). Delivery Management Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Support delivery teams to deliver remarkable client journeys. Execute Pack Checks (QA) to support our consultants and the delivery of remarkable journeys. Impart knowledge to the team, provide sage guidance and advice, conduct training and bring new thinking and thought leadership to the journey. Product Development Provide thought leadership re emerging trends and technologies. Working with POs, develop Rmkble go‑to‑market product/service that maintains our relevance in the market. Create leading products and services to solve customer problems (test and iterate with PO). Advise the broader Rmkble on DD products (and future DD products) to ensure alignment across Rmkble. Assist with testing new products with customers and internally to ensure the viability and sustainability of products and services. Communities Represent DD thought leadership within our DD communities: Charities/NFP, Higher Education, Start‑up, Industry Data Communities, meet‑ups and conferences. Build relationships, connectivity and a sense of community within DD, sharing insights and thought leadership across DD and to the wider community. Be a Brand Ambassador and evangelise the brand of DD and individual DDers. We measure the success of the role via: Delivery of remarkable client journeys. Delivery of remarkable people journeys. Requirements About you 10 years' experience implementing and designing solutions for customers utilising modern cloud and analytics platforms in one of Azure, AWS, GCP, and/or Snowflake. 10 years' experience with one of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Fivetran, DBT, Talend, Informatica, and other ELT/ETL tools. 10 years' experience with one of AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc. 10 years' proficiency in coding with Python, R or similar. 10 years' coding in SQL. Extensive experience with data warehousing methodologies e.g., Ralph Kimball or data vault. Understanding of data modelling and database design principles. Extensive experience in data integration and data architecture designs e.g., medallion architecture, lakehouse architecture, etc. The ability to interpret technical requirements and translate into technical solutions and architectures. Extensive experience in IoT architectures and ETL/ELT frameworks. Extensive experience in deploying production ready data pipelines. A broad understanding of CI/CD practices in Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience of data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability. 10 years' business or consulting experience. The ability to think "outside the box". Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage conflicting priorities. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to lead and manage engagements through to the delivery of business value. Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to think strategically to support our customers and the DataDivers business. Ability to create impactful visual proposals and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint/Word. Excellent people management skills and business acumen. Minimum of a tertiary degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, science, engineering, or technology (advanced degree preferred). Please note: The role is based in Perth, working with and supporting our Melbourne and Perth based teams. Some travel to Melbourne will be required.
