The ability to carry out work with minimal supervision, a keen and enthusiastic approach to your work and willingness to work over time will help you ensure success in this role Key Duties and Responsibilities: Read and prepare basic drawings and drawings of new technologies. Apply correct parameters for cutting and rolling and punching of various types of metals and thicknesses. Carry out daily general maintenance on equipment and record daily inspection report and report any oil leaks or mechanical faults. Perform quality inspections on machines and inspecting procedures. Assess which parts do not meet specification and find a solution. Analyse and make recommendations on how to improve current processes and existing technologies. When pressing ensure to mark out measurements from drawings including bend lines and identification of job being carried out Ensure all parts and jobs are completed at a high standard/quality. Record and document daily material usage as per procedure. Carry out daily general maintenance on equipment and record daily inspection report and report any oil leaks or mechanical faults. Perform quality inspections on machines and inspecting procedures. Assess which parts do not meet specification and find a solution. Analyse and make recommendations on how to improve current processes and existing technologies. Observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations. Runs technology through testing procedures and note findings. Assisting in engineering improvements and trials. Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in relevant field Proficient in various CAD software Knowledge of various manufacturing processes and material properties for creating viable products Ability to identify design flaws and create unique, effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate with various teams. Precision and a keen eye for detail throughout the design and testing process. Ability to work collaboratively and manage different perspectives within a team environment Skills in managing timelines, budgets, and the overall project lifecycle.
