Job Description

HR Business Partner This role serves as a strategic advisor and key partner to ensure alignment between business objectives, HR processes, and organizational culture. The HRBP will work closely with U.S. and Mexico business units, providing guidance on employment law, compensation, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. This position requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex situations with confidentiality, precaution, and business insight. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Partnering Partner with business leaders to identify workforce needs, talent gaps, and organizational priorities. Provide HR guidance on team structure, talent planning, and organizational changes. Act as a consultant to leaders on performance, engagement, development, and culture. 2. Employee Relations & Compliance Manage employee relations cases with objectivity, discretion, and legal compliance. Ensure alignment with U.S. and Mexico labor laws , corporate policies, and internal procedures. Conduct investigations, prepare documentation, and guide leaders through corrective actions. 3. Compensation & Payroll Alignment Review compensation structures, salary adjustments, and job leveling. Work closely with Payroll, Finance, and Total Rewards to validate payments and ensure accuracy. Support annual compensation cycles, merit increases, and bonus processes. 4. Leadership Support & Coaching Provide coaching to Managers, Senior Managers, and Directors on leadership effectiveness. Guide leaders on performance management, difficult conversations, and employee development plans. Support new managers in developing leadership and people-management skills. 5. Data, Reporting & Analytics Analyze trends such as attrition, absenteeism, engagement, and compensation discrepancies. Prepare reports and insights to support decision-making and risk mitigation. Identify risks early and recommend preventive actions. 6. Talent Management & Development Support succession planning, HiPo programs, promotions, and internal mobility. Partner with L&D on training needs and leadership development initiatives. Facilitate career development discussions and guide employees through growth opportunities. 7. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work Work closely with Compliance, Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and Legal teams. Align HR processes with global and regional corporate guidelines. Participate in HR projects, policy updates, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. 5 years of HR experience, preferably in logistics, technology, or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of Mexico Federal Labor Law and a good understanding of U.S. labor practices . Experience supporting leaders at multiple levels (ICs through Directors). Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and metrics. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence without authority. Fluent in English and Spanish. Preferred Previous experience in a multinational, matrix, or high-growth environment. Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems. Strong understanding of compensation structures and payroll processes.
