Job Description

Director of Finance The Director of Finance is a key member of the Finance Team, working with the CFO to oversee all accounting and financial operations. This role manages general ledger, reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, grants, and bond compliance, while supervising the Payroll & Purchasing Specialist and the AP/AR Specialist. The Director ensures compliance with GAAP, GASB, and state/federal regulations, maintains strong internal controls, and supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits. Key Responsibilities: Lead accounting functions, including general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audits. Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, grants, and bond management. Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, state, and federal requirements. Support budgeting, forecasting, asset tracking, and financial transparency reporting. Supervise and develop finance staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA preferred. 8 years finance/accounting experience, including 5 in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, GASB, payroll, AP/AR, grants, and bond management. Proficiency with accounting/payroll systems (Abila MIP and Paylocity a plus). Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Compensation: Salary range: $100,000-$125,000 annually, plus benefits. ZRCFS LI-BF1 INNOV2025
