Area Maintenance Team Lead, Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME), NA AMOC Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) is hiring for Area Maintenance Team Lead! Are you passionate about maintaining safe, efficient workspaces and leading teams to deliver results? As an Area Maintenance Team Lead at Amazon, you'll play an important role in ensuring workplace safety and supporting our world‑class distribution network. Key job responsibilities Supervise a team of facilities associates, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintenance procedures Follow and implement maintenance solutions according to established guidelines Monitor maintenance budgets and track resource usage Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to resolve maintenance issues Follow established safety programs and preventative maintenance schedules Provide on‑call support for facility emergencies Execute maintenance plans that align with team goals Maintain strong working relationships with operations teams Support team member development through regular feedback and coaching Manage daily priorities while meeting established deadlines A day in the life: Your day will focus on hands‑on team leadership and problem‑solving. You'll work closely with production teams, address maintenance issues, and implement solutions to keep our facilities running smoothly. From responding to maintenance requests to following preventative maintenance schedules, you'll ensure your team delivers consistent results while maintaining safety standards. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree OR 2 years of Amazon experience 1 years of people management experience 1 years of maintenance or facilities management experience Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Experience working in a reliability‑centered maintenance environment Preferred Qualifications Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification Familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems Experience with Service Channel and Corrigo Experience supervising maintenance technicians Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
