Tax Manager / Tax Specialist

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all tax regulations while developing tax strategies that support the company’s objectives and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Independently handle corporate tax filings, including Value-Added Tax (VAT) and Corporate Income Tax (CIT). Identify potential tax and business risks, and develop effective solutions to mitigate them. Oversee all aspects of the company’s tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes. Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns and payments. Provide strategic tax planning and advisory support to minimize tax liabilities and optimize business decisions. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and liaise with tax authorities as needed. Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their potential impact on the business. Support tax audits, ensuring proper documentation and effective risk management. Collaborate closely with the accounting team during month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare and maintain tax reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably within a multinational environment or a Big Four firm. Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations . Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite . Fluent in French and English (knowledge of Chinese is a plus).
