Role Overview As Manager of Mobile Software Engineering, you will lead a team of engineers to deliver high‑quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android. You are accountable for the development process, ensuring best practices, code quality, and timely delivery while fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented team culture. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of mobile software engineers, ensuring timely delivery of features and projects Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and prioritize work Ensure best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration Mentor and coach engineers, fostering personal and technical growth within the team Monitor the team’s progress and remove roadblocks to maintain project momentum Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to align engineering efforts with business goals Oversee the technical design and architecture of systems and applications within your team’s scope Implement and promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance development processes and tools Manage team performance and provide feedback through regular performance reviews Stay current with industry trends and technologies, ensuring the team leverages the best tools and practices Qualifications 6 years of experience in software engineering 2 years in a people leadership or management role Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes (Agile, Scrum) Expertise with developing native mobile applications for iOS and/or Android Experience with Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store distribution Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Kotlin, Swift, Objective‑C, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, or React Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI) Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within scope Additional Qualities Strong leadership and team‑building skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to balance technical depth with business objectives Proactive approach to problem‑solving and innovation Ability to mentor and inspire a diverse team of engineers Benefits Remote environment with a fully built home office experience Self‑managed PTO and flexible work hours for work‑life balance Culture built on innovation that values big ideas and encourages new solutions Work in your own time zone and select your own MacBook or PC with a $500 setup fee Compensation Our range of compensation starts at $7,800 USD.
