The Opportunity As a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of civil infrastructure works including: Bulk earthworks and pavementsRoads and intersection upgradesDrainage and sewer infrastructureWater and utility servicesPower and communications workLandscaping and external civil works This role involves practical, hands-on delivery, coordinating survey, procurement, subcontractors, and day-to-day site operations. You will be involved in virtually all aspects of project delivery, including: Programming & Planning - Develop and update construction programs to meet milestonesContracts & Procurement - Manage subcontractor packages and negotiate pricingCost Control & Forecasting - Track budgets and provide accurate financial reportingProgress Claims & Variations - Prepare claims and assist with pricing and approvalsResource Coordination - Organise labour, plant, and materials for efficient deliveryQuality & Site Management - Oversee daily operations and maintain high standardsHSEQ Compliance - Drive strong safety and quality performance across all worksClient Relationships - Communicate effectively and build lasting clients trust What You Need to Succeed: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalentLocal contractor experiences delivering a range of projects like roads, drainage, earthworks or water infrastructureStrong organisational and stakeholder management skillsKeen, hands-on, team-focused personality - able to work well with others while taking ownership of deliveryOnly candidates who are Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or hold full working rights will be considered What You Need to do now: If you believe your skills and experience align with the requirements of this position, please submit your application or contact Luke directly for a confidential discussion.
