The Role We are seeking an experienced real estate lawyer to provide specialist legal support to our client's commercial property transactions and portfolio management. The role ensures the business operates within a compliant legal framework, mitigates risk, and supports commercial outcomes across acquisitions, disposals, leasing, developments, and property management matters. Key responsibilities of the position include drafting, reviewing, negotiating and preparation of contracts of sale, leases, agreements for lease, licences, easements, and ancillary property documents. In addition, you will liaise with external counsel, conduct due diligence on acquisitions, monitor changes in legislation and case law relevant to commercial property and assist with dispute resolution. This role would suit an experienced property lawyer with 6-12 years experience plus gained at a major law firm or in house at a major corporate. Excellent technical knowledge of real estate law, the ability to balance legal risk with commercial outcomes and a solutions-focussed approach are essential.
