Job Description

6 month initial contract with likely extensionsMix of WFH and Central Sydney office We’re seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join an enterprise-scale AI and automation program. The role focuses on building, integrating and supporting solutions across Microsoft Power Platform and Azure, including Power Automate, Logic Apps, Dataverse and OpenAI integrations. This position will work as part of an established AI team, supporting ongoing platform development, automation, and DevOps enablement. Key ResponsibilitiesReview and assess current processes, connectors, environments and governance.Map integration points, data flows and dependencies across the Microsoft ecosystem.Contribute to environment planning (Dev/Test/Prod), DLP policies, and solution architecture.Develop Power Automate flows and Azure Logic Apps for both event-driven and scheduled workloads.Build Azure Functions (C#/.NET or Node.js) to support reusable logic, APIs and custom connectors.Configure and manage OpenAI API and ChatGPT administration.Model data in Dataverse and integrate with M365, SharePoint, Teams, SQL and third-party systems.Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.Automate solution packaging, connection reference binding and environment variable configuration.Apply testing, monitoring and performance best practices (Solution Checker, Application Insights, Log Analytics).Contribute to documentation, dashboards and operational runbooks. Required Experience & SkillsProven hands-on experience delivering solutions across Power Platform (Power Automate, Logic Apps, Dataverse).Strong understanding of ALM, DevOps and environment configuration.Working knowledge of Azure Functions and API integrations.Exposure to OpenAI API configuration or similar AI-driven automation tools (desirable).Solid understanding of Azure governance, identity, and automation frameworks.Experience integrating M365, SharePoint, Teams, SQL or other enterprise platforms.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
