Job description We are looking an experienced ICT Support Technician to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be working in our head office based on Fortitude Valley 4006 QLD. Duties and Responsibilities As a ICT Support Technician, you will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, perform system maintenance, and ensure the functionality, security, and updates of our online software applications. Your role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of the company's technology infrastructure to minimize downtime, and managing current software and applications, ensuring they function and remain error-free. As an ICT Support Technician, your main tasks are, but not limited to: Oversee the management of applications and software. Diagnose and resolve errors and system failures in software applications. Make system adjustments to better align with the needs of end users, including both internal teams and external clients. Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on software and applications. Perform regular inspections of network infrastructures and troubleshoot system issues or failures. Optimize systems to ensure maximum efficiency and performance of software and applications. Configure software and systems in accordance with network requirements and technical specifications. Provide technical assistance and support through help desk services, addressing user issues and inquiries. Skills Required Data Analysis skills. Ability to setup software and phone applications. Cloud computing. Cybersecurity skills. Virtualization skills. Ability to install, uninstall, maintain and fix software and programs. Database management. Operational systems knowledge. ICT numeracy skills. Knowledge in web development. Education and Previous Experience Required Tertiary Education in Information Technology or co-related certification is required. At least 2 years of experience as an ICT Support Technician or co-related role. Working Arrangements Job Type: Full-time & permanent. Weekly working hours: 38 per week. Schedule: From Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Salary: $77,000 per year plus superannuation. Work Eligibility: The candidate must have full working rights.
