Data Analyst

About the role As a Data Analyst at Redbourne, you will play a crucial role in extracting valuable insights from complex data sets in the Health and Community sector. In this full-time position based in Chermside, Queensland, you will be a key member of our dynamic and friendly Customer support and IT team, applying your expertise to unlock the power of data. What you'll be doing Developing and maintaining robust reporting systems to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate information. Consulting directly with Customers to design and automate reports to support their business. Identifying, collecting, and analysing data from a variety of sources to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement and use advanced statistical and analytical techniques to generate meaningful insights and recommendations. Presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. Work directly with new customers to assist in migration of legacy data into Redbourne's case management system. What we're looking for Significant experience as a Business/Systems Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably within the Information & Communication Technology industry Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Systems or Data Analyst is required Strong proficiency in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis (ETL/ELT), with experience in handling confidential or personal identifiable information. Familiarity in database mapping , transformation and reconciliation strategies in Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL environment. Proficiency in both SQL and Python for data analysis and manipulation is essential. Familiarity with tools such as SQL Server Data Tools or Redgate SQL Server compare, Powershell is preferred. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business challenges. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively translate data insights into actionable recommendations A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Tertiary qualifications or working towards qualification in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Business Analytics.
