UG Electrical Supervisor/General Foreman - Expatriate Position in Indonesia

Location: Tembagapura, Indonesia Rotation: 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off or 8 weeks on, 3 weeks off Shift Length: 12 hours Compensation: Redpath offers a comprehensive wage and benefit package Travel: Flights provided from point of hire to job site Conditions of Employment: Successful completion of pre-employment medical and substance abuse test Accommodations: Camp setting Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure that all work in your area is done safely – procedures followed so that productivities are achieved without incident Ensure the safe and efficient completion of all tasks as assigned by Supervisor. Your position reports upward through your chain of command Plan tasks for the shift in conjunction with the Superintendent, and when necessary licensing or training and maintenance personnel Allocate machinery, work areas and tasks to shift employees Direction and supervision of workers employed in your project area Attend at pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, safety meetings Installation and maintenance of: High Voltage power systems and cables, 1000v mining cables, switchgear and protection systems Leaky feeder systems General low voltage (480v-220v-110v) equipment installations High Voltage cable terminations and switchgear Ensuring all electrical installation meet the relevant codes and standards Oversee the daily line up and safety meeting with the crew and upgrading of procedures that will optimize company safety and quality of work Visit all assigned working areas and make sure the area are up to standard, employees are following procedures, sign off the Neil George, 5 x 5 Safety and Operator pre-check cards Required Skills and Qualifications: Electrical Engineering degree or similar Previous electrical supervisory experience in an underground environment 5 years or more experience in electrical installation in the heavy industrial and mining fields Safety & goal oriented Good communication skills Sound computer skills Ability to lead, motivate and direct a large workforce. https://www.redpathmining.com/en/careers
