The Role Based in Tennyson, as the Maintenance Fitter, you'll be responsible for: Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipmentResponding to unplanned breakdowns to minimise downtimeSupporting production teams by ensuring equipment reliability and plant availabilityIdentifying and implementing opportunities for performance improvementsDriving site safety, hygiene, and compliance standards What We're Looking For A trade qualification in mechanical engineering (or relevant discipline)Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance fitter role within food manufacturing (milling experience highly regarded)Sound knowledge of Lean manufacturing practicesStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative teamExcellent communication and time management skills You'll Also Bring A safety-first mindsetA desire to contribute to process improvements and operational excellenceExperience working within GMP and HACCP environments Location: Kensington Shifts: Day shift (8am - 4pm), with occasional callouts as needed Salary: $48-$50 per hour, plus super and overtime - long-term opportunity If you're a mechanically-minded problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced production setting, we'd love to hear from you.
