Permanent full time position parking onsite National organisation with global footprint Salary up to $120k plus super COE 1 day WFH flex Seeking an Operations Finance Analyst for a large organisation in Geelong with an immediate start available Your new company Are you a commercially minded finance professional looking to make a real impact in a dynamic business environment? We are seeking an Operations Finance Analyst to join a high-performing team, supporting business-critical decision-making and driving continuous improvement across all areas of finance and operations. Your new role Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will play a pivotal role in supporting business-critical decision-making and driving financial performance. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the review and analysis of sales plans, margins, and variances across actuals, budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans. Conducting detailed margin analysis by customer, product, and period. Building and presenting financial models to support business initiatives, including scenario modelling and profitability improvement. Delivering insightful variance analysis and succinct commentary on key business drivers. Providing robust business support, including sales proposals, cost management, and data analysis. Engaging with local and overseas stakeholders to build strong working relationships. Contributing to month-end reporting, maintaining the fixed asset register, and performing inventory reconciliations. Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals. Delivering financial analysis to support pricing decisions, commercial contracts, and business cases for new investments. Driving process improvement and supporting system integration projects. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded). Strong financial modelling and analytical skills. Advanced Excel and accounting software skills (SAP and Hyperion experience highly regarded). Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience working with senior decision makers and supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
