About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Specialist with experience in food manufacturing or FMCG to join our Sales team. In this pivotal role, you will support the sales function by managing processes, analysing data, maintaining CRM tools, and improving workflow efficiency. You will manage a small team, collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations to ensure our sales activities align with business objectives and deliver outstanding outcomes for customers. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Support Support the development and implementation of efficient sales processes. Research and analyse sales data to provide forecasts and identify opportunities. Maintain and optimise CRM tools to strengthen customer relationships. Collaborate with sales managers and account coordinators to ensure timely follow-up & customer satisfaction Coordinate new enquiries, follow up leads, and prepare seasonality reports. Assist with customer complaints by liaising with Quality and Supply Chain teams. Support product shortage communications and manage NPD/new customer onboarding processes. Assist Account Managers with accounts and follow up on customer leads. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to provide accurate advice to customers. Sales & Reporting Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports. Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline status and team KPIs. Consolidate and track new leads, ensuring visibility across the team. Work with Finance on pricing updates and structures. Partner with Communications to provide B2B updates on seasonality, new products, and business improvements. Track and support new customised orders through the NPD process. Process & Continuous Improvement Assist in documenting, reviewing, and maintaining Sales SOPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support training for sales administration and customer service staff. Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and efficiency across the sales function. Monitor inventory and pricing changes in collaboration with the operations team. Oversee the preparation of pricing updates, quotes, proposals, contracts and presentations for clients. Safety & Compliance Follow OH&S policies and procedures at all times. Report hazards or incidents promptly and support continuous safe work practices. Comply with Tasty One’s Code of Conduct, policies, and values. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Education / Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (advantageous). Skills & Experience 3–4 years’ experience in sales operations, customer service, or administration. Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or marketing (preferred). Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
