As part of the second line of defense, we focus on effective market abuse alert management - detecting, investigating, and preventing insider trading and market manipulation - and we support local compliance teams across the Group. Your Tasks * Manage the full lifecycle of market abuse alerts: triage, analysis, escalation, and resolution. * Optimize surveillance scenarios: fine-tune detection logic, back-test, and document changes. * Collaborate with first-line and IT teams on data quality, scenario testing, and UAT. * Perform real-time checks on market abuse, personal account dealing, and conflicts of interest including escalation and reporting * Support governance and development of markets compliance standards; advise first-line and local compliance teams across the group Your Background * 3 years' working experience in capital markets, law, or compliance * Hands-on experience with market abuse surveillance tools and alert handling * Knowledge of scenario parametrization, back-testing, and performance metrics * Strong knowledge of capital markets products and related regulatory requirements * Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus), accuracy, and analytical mindset Our Offer * A role with real impact on Group-wide compliance standards * The possibility to build expertise in relevant regulatory framework (e.g. MAR, MiFID, Benchmark Regulation) * You will be able to work full- or part-time (min. 30h per week) * Discover and enjoy the benefits of Erste Group * The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 49.772,80 gross per year.
