Production Engineer Days Newcastle Upon Tyne £40k Central Employment is delighted to be supporting a leading manufacturer in the area in their search for a Production Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to move into an Engineering role, likely from a Maintenance type background, with full responsibility for the product through the line, optimising the process and performing key maintenance work where needed. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Engineer located in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control. Day-to-day tasks include production planning, conducting quality control checks, analysing production data, and optimizing production processes. Effective communication with team members and other departments is essential for successful operation and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical maintenance background and may have experience in a Project or Improvement type remit. Whilst a degree is not essential, further education such as HNC or HND in electrical is most desired, as well as key electrical tickets such as 18th Edition and Inspection and Testing.
