System Engineer with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a System Engineer in Owego, NY. Responsibilities for the System Engineer: * Apply Model-Based Engineering (MBE) methodologies to support system development and analysis activities. * Conduct system-level trade studies and comparative analyses to inform design decisions. * Evaluate alternatives to optimize system architecture and performance. * Develop and analyze system performance models to validate design effectiveness. * Design system interfaces and perform functional modeling and decomposition to ensure integration and traceability. * Support requirements verification through test planning and execution. * Participate in technical reviews to assess engineering progress and ensure alignment with program goals. * Document engineering work products and maintain artifacts within the Engineering Data System Design Repository (SDR). * Collaborate onsite at a Lockheed Martin facility with a multidisciplinary team of experienced engineers. Qualifications for the System Engineer: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * 7 years of Systems engineering experience * 5 years of applicable domain experience * 3 years of Model-Based Systems Engineering experience using CAMEO * Experience with DO-254 and DO-178 - standards Compensation for the System Engineer: * $130,000 to $215,000 *Depending on Experience * Der diem and relocation assistance * Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law LI-SH2
