Finance Transformation Manager

Finance Transformation Manager Flexible working (Greater London but mostly remote). Some site visits to India (approx. once every 6 weeks) 12 month fixed term contract (potential to extend) Up to £160,000 per annum Altum is partnering with a PE-backed global media organisation, looking for a hands-on Finance Transformation Manager to lead a high profile end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementation. This role bridges finance operations, systems, and project delivery, ensuring the Finance team operates efficiently, leverages best practices, and meets PE-driven objectives. This is more than an ERP role; it is a strategic opportunity to influence finance processes, Target Operating Model, and operational best practices across the organisation. Key Responsibilities ERP Implementation & Change Management Lead implementation of NetSuite Financials module (full lifecycle: discovery, design, testing, hypercare). Transition from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to NetSuite, ensuring a scalable and cost-effective finance solution. Process Workshops & Best Practices Define scope and boundaries for transformation; establish "what good looks like" for finance processes. Drive best-practice design for key finance processes: Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Order-to-Cash (OTC) Record-to-Report (R2R) Quality Control and other finance operations Challenge and align tower leads to ensure adherence to scope and standards. Partner with the business to bring operational processes to PE-level readiness, including governance, controls, and reporting improvements. End-to-End Delivery Deliver all transformation activities on time and to high quality, including discovery, design, implementation, testing, and post-go-live hypercare. Ensure smooth transition off Dynamics 365 by Q4 2026. Team Leadership & Coordination Provide matrix leadership, mentoring, and motivation for finance operations teams (UK and APAC). Influence stakeholders across finance, IT, and external consultants to achieve transformation goals. Support the development of internal talent through coaching and guidance. Governance & Risk Management Strengthen existing finance transformation governance. Monitor dependencies and risks, cost-saving initiatives, and ERP timelines. Strategic and Technology Focus Potential to contribute to emerging technology initiatives, including AI-enabled finance processes, following ERP stabilisation. Key Requirements Essential: Proven end-to-end ERP implementation experience, ideally NetSuite. Strong finance transformation expertise, including process reengineering, reporting, and data models. Experience in high-pressure, fast-paced, PE-backed environments. Excellent mentoring, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. Positive, can-do attitude and adaptability. Exposure to multiple ERP implementations. Desirable: Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience. Familiarity with emerging technologies/AI
