Our client, a leading multinational information technology services company is recruiting for a MicroStrategy Developer to join their business in Spain. Position Title: MicroStrategy Developer Position Type: Employment or Freelance Start Date: ASAP Location: Based in Madrid, working remotely Contact: Franci Hernandez | 49 (0) 89 23 88 98 55 As a mid-level MicroStrategy Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence (BI) solutions using the MicroStrategy platform. You’ll work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and documents. Build schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies) and application objects (metrics, filters, prompts). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. Optimize performance of BI solutions and troubleshoot issues. Implement best practices for data modeling and report development. Provide L3 support and resolve production issues. Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with architectural standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5–6 years of experience in BI development, with at least 3 years in MicroStrategy (v10.2 or higher). Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Teradata). Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Experience with MicroStrategy tools like Architect, Desktop, Web, Object Manager.
