Contracts and Procurement Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a respected Local Authority, based in Cardiff, which is seeking an experienced Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy legal team providing high-quality advice on a broad range of commercial, procurement and local government matters. Location: Cardiff – REMOTE WORKING Contract Length: Initial 3-month contract Key Responsibilities: Handle your own contracts and procurement law caseload from start to completion (particularly procurement act and public contract regulations). Draft contracts (standard forms and amending the same). Use DocuSign (or equivalent software) for the completion of contracts. Occasionally handle construction and waste matters as well as procuring from/ using framework agreements. Desirable Experience: Construction and/or waste sector matters Procuring from and working with framework agreements. Benefits: Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance. Flexible hours. Remote working. We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
