EMEA Financial Director

POSITION Permanent CONTEXT / PROJECT Entité / Pôle : Worms Safety EMEA Abilities include finance controlling & analysis, close supervision of Morocco and Tunisia finance operations, and support to the financial team (EMEA). Key challenges: Consolidation and harmonization of financial processes across multiple EMEA locations, integration of regional reporting with group requirements, management of multi-country compliance (IFRS/local GAAP), and preparation for strategic growth projects. JOB DESCRIPTION Missions: Lead financial planning, analysis, and control for the EMEA perimeter. Act as Finance Business Partner to operations, sales, and R&D. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in line with group standards. Oversee statutory accounts, tax compliance, and internal controls. Monitor KPIs (margin, operating result, turnover, stock level). Supervise cash management and financing strategy. Support M&A and post-acquisition integration projects. Collaborate closely with external auditors and local authorities. Contribute to operational efficiency through process automation and reporting improvements. PROFILE SOUGHT Hard Skills: Proven track record in financial leadership for multinational environments. Strong expertise in IFRS and multi-country GAAP. Advanced skills in financial planning, analysis, consolidation, and ERP systems (SAP, Proconcept, Quadratus, QuickBooks, LIMS). Experience in biotech, diagnostics, or services sector is a plus. Nice to have: M&A integration experience. Knowledge of African and European regulatory environments. Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, rigor, and problem-solving mindset. Business-oriented with the ability to act as a strategic partner. Leadership without direct authority (initially). Excellent communication in multicultural contexts.
