Mission: The Satellite Operations Engineer will be part of the Flight Control Team and will report to the head of Satellite Operations Organization Unit. He/she will be involved in all tasks related to the satellite in‑orbit operations support and the preparatory activities for new satellite missions. Activities: As part of the Flight Control Team, the main duties will be: prepare the satellite operations including Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP), Commissioning and Routine phases operations, developing, testing, validating and maintaining flight operations plans and procedures, satellite database and the necessary operations items and tools plan and execute satellite operations in LEOP, Commissioning and Routine phase support analysis and investigation of operational events and anomalies related to the satellite and ground segment elements prepare and execute System Validation Tests with the satellite on ground contribute to prepare simulation campaigns and participate in them assist in the provision of training to the Mission Control Centre operations personnel support in‑orbit operations coordination of satellite activities with the system level operations support the operational validation of Mission Control Centre prepare operations reports contribute to the satellite long term analysis and performance assessment preparation of technical notes and attendance at technical meetings and reviews as necessary Qualifications: University master degree in aerospace or electronic engineering. At least 2-3 years of experience in the satellite operations domain is an asset. Candidates should be fluent in English. Skill and Attributes: Candidates should be system‑minded, self‑motivated, disciplined and results oriented with strong interpersonal skills, team working capability, flexibility and capability to adapt to complex situations and strengths in analysis, synthesis and presentation. Candidates should have solid programming/software engineering skills with good knowledge of MATLAB, and one of Python, C++ and Java.
