Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Associate Control Center & Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic and will support the 24x7 maintenance activity organised in shifts. Accountabilities Help desk activities for remote and centralised maintenance activities Guarantee corrective and preventive maintenance task start, performance and closing including associated logistics and spare parts activities Monitoring and analysis of reliability & maintainability figures and operational performance of in‑service equipment support, troubleshooting and fault‑finding activities Updating and maintaining “as maintained” hardware and software configuration Reporting activities Required Skills / Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent technical background 0–3 years of experience in maintenance activities or equivalent Testing & fault finding Incident/accident investigation Knowledge of technologies Maintenance Railway safety rules & regulations Statistical analysis and data management Use of maintenance tools Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems Knowledge of hardware infrastructures (server, storage and blade) Knowledge of virtualised environments Knowledge of network infrastructures Knowledge of the English language Troubleshooting ability Education / Qualification Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent technical background.
