Lead Sourcing Specialist - Sourcing Initiatives Manager / Team Leader Lead Sourcing Specialist – Sourcing Initiatives Florence Are you a subject matter expert in designing and implementing global digital procurement processes? Can youalign digital procurement processes with overall organizational priorities? Join our Team The Lead Sourcing Specialist is a pivotal role within the procurement organization, responsible for implementing and enhancing a comprehensive digital strategy for procurement operations. This position drives process standardization, adoption of digital tools, and optimization of performance metrics, serving as the primary reference for the digital transformation of procurement processes and ensuring an integrated, innovative approach for both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for: Defining and digitising key value streams within procurement operations, identifying those with the greatest impact. Serving as an integral team member, supporting the implementation of the digital operating framework. Applying lean principles and digital best practices, delivering proven results. Transforming the business and enabling growth through the simplification and digitisation of procurement processes. Improve and manage digital templates for procurement processes, ensuring their integrity and continuous improvement. Collaborate with functional experts to translate operational needs into high-impact digital solutions. Train and assist functional leads on digital processes. Engage with other business functions to understand and manage the impact of decisions on procurement processes. Own user acceptance testing and provide approvals for key digital enhancements. Manage end-user training strategies, delivery, and associated change management. Proactively manage issues and resolve project risks related to digitization. Act as a change agent to drive ERP and digital tool adoption across the global organization. Analyze, develop strategies, and manage digital changes resulting from acquisitions, consolidations, and new entities. Lead the digitization of quality management processes within procurement, ensuring seamless integration with procurement systems. Drive the adoption of digital tools for document control, traceability, and quality documentation management. To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, information technology, or related field. Several years of experience in procurement, materials management, or supply chain, with a focus on digitization. Proven ability to challenge the status quo and influence cross-functionally and globally. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to link relevant data to performance drivers and generate digital alternatives. In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and digital tools (SAP, Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing digital process improvements. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Confidence and assertiveness, with strong influencing skills across business functions. Adaptable and flexible, with a positive attitude and the ability to work in ambiguous situations. Demonstrated leadership in matrix organizations and digital change management. Experience developing and executing strategic digital plans with measurable outcomes.
