Job Description

For our own projects, we are looking for: SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR MISSION: The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities at site, ensuring compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and international scaffolding codes. TASKS: Supervise scaffolding erection, alteration, and dismantling activities in accordance with approved drawings and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections to ensure scaffold stability, tagging, and compliance with EN/BS standards. Coordinate with construction, HSE, and QA/QC teams to plan and execute scaffolding work safely and efficiently. Maintain scaffolding registers, inspection reports, and material control logs. Verify scaffold load capacities and ensure proper anchoring and bracing are implemented. Provide technical guidance and on-site supervision to scaffolders. Ensure adherence to refinery HSE rules, permit-to-work systems, and safe access protocols. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline Minimum 5 years of experience as Scaffolding Supervisor in oil & gas, refinery, or industrial construction projects (bio-refinery experience preferred). Valid Scaffolding Supervisor / Inspector Certification (CITB, CISRS, or equivalent recognized standard). Strong knowledge of international scaffolding standards Proficiency in English and Italian OTHER DETAILS: Location: Livorno, Italy (Bio-Refinery Project) Contract Duration: 1 year Profile Middle East upholds workplace equality and diversity, assessing candidates solely on merit and potential.
