Job Title: Accounting Analyst Location: Purchase, NY Type: Onsite Duration: 12 Months Pay Range: $25.00 to $28.00 Hourly Job Summary: ASK Consulting is seeking a Accounting/Auditing Analyst to join the Wealth Management Finance team for a leading global financial institution. This position focusing on accounting, finance, and process transformation within the Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting function. The role requires a strong financial and analytical background with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions to drive transparency and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams across the firm. Lead and contribute to individual and team deliverables and projects leveraging financial expertise. Maintain adherence to firmwide risk, regulatory standards, and internal controls. Produce, maintain, and automate detailed analyses of financial metrics relevant to Wealth Management. Contribute to reporting and budgeting on publicly reported metrics such as Consulting Group Flows. Partner with Business Management, Product, Accounting, Bank, Strategy, and Data teams for financial insights. Execute enhanced analyses to drive transparency, performance evaluation, and strategic decision-making. Prepare ad hoc reports and recurring financial analysis as required. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or auditing. Prior experience in formal accounting and/or auditing strongly preferred. Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, or Wealth Management operations is a plus. Additional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
