Technical Architect

Technical Architect (Azure Focus) Up to £80,000 Bonus Slough (2 days per week onsite) We’re seeking an experienced Technical Architect to drive cloud and data platform architecture for high-impact projects. This role blends strategic thinking, hands-on delivery, and leadership across stakeholders, helping shape enterprise cloud solutions in Azure and hybrid environments. What You’ll Do: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Azure cloud solutions, including Data Lakes, Synapse, DevOps pipelines, and analytics platforms. Define high- and low-level architecture, building secure, resilient, and cost-efficient solutions. Work with stakeholders across IT, security, and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Embed governance, security, and DevSecOps practices into cloud and data platforms. Mentor engineers and support delivery of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep), and automation frameworks. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience architecting Azure cloud solutions for complex, enterprise environments. Strong understanding of cloud governance, security (Zero Trust, DevSecOps), and compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience with Data Lakes, analytics platforms, and modern data architectures. Experience defining landing zones, hybrid connectivity, and multi-region deployments. Excellent communication skills – able to translate technical vision to business and executive stakeholders.
