CNC Machinist

CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter Location: Caffyn Engineering Ltd Hours: Monday to Thursday (4-day week) Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Excellent rates based on experience About the Role We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller, Programmer and Setter to join our growing precision engineering business. You’ll be working on Hurco 3- and 4-axis CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components for a wide range of industries. Strong offline programming skills are preferred but not essential — experience with OneCNC software will be an advantage. In-house training can be provided for the right candidate. This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress within a modern, fast-paced engineering environment. Minimum Requirements (Please do not apply unless you meet the following criteria) * Competent with offline CAM software and CNC milling machine setup in a sub-contract environment * Able to use a wide range of work-holding techniques * Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) * Able to work to engineering drawings and program to tight tolerances * Ability to inspect your own work to a high standard * Positive, self-motivated attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work About Us Caffyn Engineering Ltd is a fast-paced sub-contract precision engineering company specialising in one-offs and small batch production with rapid turnaround times.
