Job Description

Business Analyst (Small Change) – Investment Operations - Investment Management £90,000-£100,000 per annum Our client is a rapidly growing pension fund who invest across global financial markets, real assets, private credit, and private equity. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst or Investment Operations SME with change experience to be responsible for owning and delivering BAU change items for the Investment Operations function. Specific Responsibilities: Own and deliver BAU change items for Investment Operations. Work collaboratively across Investment Operations to identify improvement opportunities in BAU activities, develop business solutions and achieve best possible outcomes for our internal stakeholders. Be an SME within Investment Operations business area and understand the interaction between their area and other domains across the business. Identify change opportunities and advocate for innovative solutions to business problems. Raise new change opportunities on behalf of Investment Operations via the Operations Change framework and present these at the Triage forum. Review external vendor opportunities and build relationships to drive and deliver improvements to processes, controls, and automation. Effectively design, lead and implement approved BAU changes through the Operations Change framework, enabling continuous improvement, increased efficiency and scalability. Lead the operational readiness activities ahead of change implementation and project deliveries. Be a change champion in Investment Operations and assist team members to identify improvement opportunities. Assist to build a continuous improvement culture across Investment Operations. Experience Required: Operational understanding of the data flows between Asset Owner, Fund Manager, and the Custodian/Administrator/Registry. Exposure to Blackrock Aladdin would be highly advantageous but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively within and across various teams to achieve end to end business outcomes. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills. Confidence to communicate with a range of different people at different levels of the organisation. Proven ability to work across multiple initiatives at once and prioritise effectively. Courage to innovate and encourage new ways of thinking as well as being okay to accept and learn from failure.
