They are a specialist firm and are going through a period of growth so now is a great time to join the team. The role The day to day activities will be the welding for thick plate Pay/Shifts/Perks 1. Day Shift Hours (39 hour week) 06.45 – 15:15 Monday to Thursday. 06:45 – 14:15 Friday Pay Basic (permanent): £17.36 per hour, OT1: £26.04 per hour Sunday/Bank holiday: £34.72 per hour You will need to pass the following weld test * Our initial test will involve welding a 25mm thick plate: * Single Sided TIG root, 2nd and 3rd pass. * Welding the below test piece in the down hand position half way full with MAG * Welding the below test piece in the vertical up position the remainder of the way with FCAW Ambitek is a traditional value recruiter who look for the following from all candidates who wish to apply for a permanent or temporary role: * 2 Work references * A solid work history in the relevant role you have applied for * Excellent time keeping and attendance If you have been unsuccessful with this vacancy we will always keep your details on file to try and find a role that may suit more and will be in touch as soon as the right role comes up.
