Job Description
Position: Clinical Business Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Pay Rate: CAD$90-$100/hr Overview: The organization is undertaking a large-scale initiative to implement a unified Clinical Information Solution (CIS) to modernize healthcare delivery and standardize clinical processes across the province. The Clinical Business Analyst (CBA) will play a key role in supporting this transformation through business analysis, requirements gathering, and the development of clinical standards. Key Responsibilities: Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements for CIS implementation. Conduct gap analyses and support workflow design, order sets, and documentation templates. Facilitate workshops with clinical stakeholders and subject matter experts. Develop business process documentation, design specifications, and user guides. Build, validate, and test clinical content in the CIS. Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions. Support change management, user engagement, and implementation readiness. Mandatory Requirements: University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology (or equivalent). 5 years of experience as a Clinical or Business Analyst in healthcare settings. Experience with Health Information Systems (EHR/CIS) and healthcare operations. Minimum 3 years of experience in CIS or similar health IT implementation projects. Ability to start by the specified project date. Preferred Qualifications: 6 years of experience in clinical workflow design, order sets, and clinical documentation. Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience using JIRA and Microsoft Office 365 tools. Bilingual communication (English/French) is an asset. Prior experience in public health sector environments. Engagement Details: Full-time role, initial term of two years with possible extensions. Primarily remote with occasional on-site travel as required. Must be able to work independently and manage multiple project streams. Deliverables: Documented requirements, workflows, and design specifications. Validated and tested clinical content for CIS. Comprehensive process documentation and stakeholder communication materials.
