Staff Data Engineer

Duration: 6 months extensions Location: 1x/week, Toronto (Remote Possible) BA/BS in math, computer science, engineering or related field 6 yrs of experience in data engineer or architect role Deep expertise in data architecture including data lake and warehouse Experience with cloud data technologies Experience in open source tools such as Airflow, docker, DBT Expert level in SQL and query performance tuning Experience in large scale data processing Working experience with Git Strong oral and written communication skills Solid stakeholder management skills Proven team player that will work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Experience working in an agile environment Experience in retail or ecommerce is a plus Strong desire to learn and to push the boundaries of what can be done to better empower our business with data
