Job Title: Jr. Packaging Engineer Location: San Isidro Schedule: Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. (Hybrid: 3 days in office) Requirements: Packaging, Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineer, or related field. 0–2 years in packaging development or related areas. Intermediate–advanced English. Availability to travel and visit production plants when required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Required Qualifications: Advanced use of design software (AutoCAD, Illustrator, SolidWorks). Fundamentals of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging structures. Data analysis and basic statistics. Main responsibilities: Support the design, development, validation, and documentation of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging structures for snacking tomatoes and greenhouse vegetables. Collaborate with different areas (R&D, Postharvest, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, and PD) to ensure packaging meets functionality, product protection, cost efficiency, and brand differentiation requirements. Accountabilities: Support the development of functional and cost-effective packaging designs according to briefs and technical guidelines. Also artwork changes. Participate in packaging trials at plant, distribution, and point of sale to validate performance. Prepare and maintain technical documentation: specifications, drawings, data sheets, and BOMs Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams during scale-ups, pilot runs, packaging improvements and shelf life tests. Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to packaging design, cost, and sustainability.
