Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

GSE Biomedical is a MedTech Studio based in Mexico that specializes in the design and development of medical devices at any stage. We have over 15 years of experience in the design, development, prototyping, testing, regulatory submission, and certified manufacturing of medical devices. We are an ISO 13485 Certified and FDA-registered facility with full capabilities for manufacturing and clean room assembly operations for medical products that are exported into the US. We help our customers develop their technologies from a concept sketch to full-scale certified nearshoring manufacturing operations. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor's degree in mechatronics or similar engineering. Experience in the Product Design Industry (5 years experience) Advanced English. Experience in continuous improvement processes (5 years experience) CAD ( Computer-aided Design) SolidWorks / Onshape (5 years experience) FEA ( Finite Element Analysis) DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) (5 years experience) Design for sheet metal manufacturing. Design for injection molding. Design for 3D printing. Drafting of GD&T ASME Y14.5 compliant drawings (5 years experience) ISO 13485 Design Control requirements. Soft Skills: Sense of urgency. Organized. Demonstrates advanced proficiency in operations and technical fields, combined with strong capabilities in both people and process management, as well as in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers. Demonstrates deep expertise in their functional area, along with a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional roles and their impact on the broader business.
