PLC Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) across production equipment Develop and optimize HMI interfaces and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve automation issues and implement improvements Support continuous improvement initiatives through automation upgrades and process optimization Create and maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams, control schematics, and SOPs Conduct testing, validation, and commissioning of new automated systems Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and internal quality protocols Analyze equipment performance data to reduce downtime and improve efficiency Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field 2–5 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation, preferably in metal mechanic or automotive sectors Proficiency in PLC software (RSLogix, TIA Portal, etc.), HMI development, and SCADA platforms Intermediate English proficiency Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools Foxconn is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
