Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our global SAP technical team. The ideal candidate will handle SAP system administration, monitoring, upgrades, and integrations across multiple landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and Solution Manager). This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem‑solving, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities Perform SAP system installations, configurations, and upgrades (ABAP/Java stack). Manage and monitor SAP system performance , tuning, and backups across environments. Administer SAP systems on various platforms (on‑prem, AWS, Azure, OCI, and Syntax Cloud). Support S/4HANA migrations and system conversions. Manage user administration, transport management, RFCs, and security roles . Plan and execute system refreshes and client copies. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DB teams to ensure system stability. Troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, and respond to incidents promptly. Ensure compliance with Syntax operational standards and SAP best practices. Requirements 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration. Hands‑on experience with S/4HANA , HANA DB , and SAP Solution Manager . Knowledge of OS, DB (HANA, Oracle, SQL) , and Cloud platform architectures . Strong understanding of system monitoring tools and automation frameworks. Experience managing multi‑client, global SAP environments. Excellent analytical, teamwork, and communication skills. Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish or other languages are a plus. SAP certification in Basis or HANA Administration preferred.
