About the Company We are supporting a leading European pharmaceutical group with a strong heritage in research, development, and manufacturing of both sterile and non-sterile products. The company operates under the highest quality and compliance standards and continues expanding its international footprint. As part of its growth strategy, the company is seeking to appoint a Deputy Qualified Person (QP) to join the Quality team at one of its key manufacturing sites. Role Overview The Deputy QP will act as a key member of the Quality Assurance department, supporting the Qualified Person in ensuring that all products released to market comply with EU GMP and regulatory requirements. This position offers the opportunity to develop within a highly reputable organization and to eventually assume full QP responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Support the Qualified Person in the batch certification and release process according to Directive 2001/83/EC and EU GMP Part I, Chapter 1. Review manufacturing and quality documentation, including deviations, CAPAs, and change controls. Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring ongoing GMP compliance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA and manufacturing teams. Provide technical and regulatory support for product quality and validation activities. Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, QC, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain. Act as a back-up QP when delegated and authorized. Requirements Degree in Pharmacy (mandatory to meet EU QP eligibility). At least 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. Previous experience supporting or working closely with a Qualified Person is highly valued. Strong understanding of EU GMP, Annex 16, and related regulatory requirements. Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
