Job Description
An established engineering company is seeking a proactive Technical Sales Engineer to join their team at their facility in Storrington, West Sussex. Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, plus car or allowance, private healthcare, performance-related incentives, and a review after 6 months The Role: A dynamic position combining technical expertise with customer engagement. You’ll support existing clients, develop new business opportunities, and promote a range of high-performance industrial equipment used across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and dealers Identify and develop new business opportunities Follow up on enquiries and generate new leads Increase market presence and raise the company’s profile Conduct on-site equipment demonstrations Attend exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events Candidate Profile: Background in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline Minimum 2 years’ experience with mechanical or technical products Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Proactive, self-motivated, and commercially focused Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Confident engaging with customers and comfortable in a field-based role
