Backend Software Developer (Remote – Canada) Location: Remote (Canada-wide) Working Hours: EST Our client is hiring a Backend Software Developer to help build scalable, cloud-based solutions for leading North American clients. This is a fully remote role open to candidates across Canada. What You’ll Do Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle Ensure code quality, design consistency, and technical governance Contribute to architecture, planning, coding, and continuous improvement Support releases and live applications Engage in DevOps and deployment processes Communicate clearly with global teams and stakeholders ✅ What You Bring 6 years of Java development experience 4 years working with AWS cloud services Experience with CI/CD pipelines and scalable architectures (e.g., microservices, serverless) Strong object-oriented design and database modeling (SQL & NoSQL) Excellent English communication skills Client-facing experience Bonus Skills Experience with TypeScript or Python Familiarity with DDD and TDD Note: This role is open to candidates located anywhere in Canada.
