Overview The IT Manager is responsible for both the leadership and day-to-day execution of technology operations across retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate functions. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team management, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of store systems, ERP, e-commerce platforms, and infrastructure. The IT Manager partners closely with cross-functional departments to resolve issues quickly, deliver technology projects, and drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities • Provide hands-on technical support for store systems, POS, ERP, networks, and e-commerce platforms, ensuring minimal downtime for business operations • Lead and mentor the IT team, balancing direct involvement in troubleshooting with oversight of daily activities • Oversee infrastructure and networking, including system upgrades, patching, and security monitoring • Manage and execute IT projects such as system rollouts, integrations, and hardware refreshes in retail and distribution environments • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Procurement, Loss Prevention, Merchandising, and Buying to support technology needs and troubleshoot recurring issues • Monitor and maintain system reliability, ensuring strong disaster recovery and business continuity processes • Administer IT assets, licenses, and procurement to support retail store openings, relocations, and distribution center requirements • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for system support, implementation, and escalation • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with data security standards Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience • 5 years of progressive IT experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role • Strong technical background in retail systems, including POS, ERP, and e-commerce integrations • Hands-on expertise in networking, servers, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity best practices • Proven ability to balance day-to-day troubleshooting with delivery of larger IT projects • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support end-users in both technical and non-technical terms • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment Skills and Competencies • Hands-on troubleshooting and problem resolution • Leadership and team mentorship • Retail and distribution systems knowledge • Project execution and vendor coordination • Strong customer-service mindset with business acumen
